On the Move at The Heritage at Brentwood

The Heritage at Brentwood is pleased to welcome two new directors, announce a promotion within its leadership team and introduce two new members of its Marketing team.

Beth Houk, Director of Marketing, is a sales and marketing executive with a proven track record of significantly improving occupancy and revenue in the senior living and Life Plan industry. Houk has extensive experience in leading marketing teams and optimizing sales performance at multiple continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) throughout the eastern United States, most recently Asbury Place Maryville. A Florida native, Houk earned a Business Administration and Management degree from Florida Atlantic University. She is a horse enthusiast and loves spending time with her two adult children and two grandchildren.

James “Lee” Clark Jr., Director of Environmental Services, comes to The Heritage from Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, where for over seven years he served as Environmental Services Operations Manager. Lee previously served as a manufacturing manager and managed a family owned a construction company. He studied Business Management at University of Phoenix in Franklin. He also studied toward an associate of applied science degree from Columbia State Community College. Lee resides in Columbia with his wife, Dana, and their son Jamie. Hobbies include fishing, bowling and karate, for which he has a 3rd degree black belt. He also has a 2nd degree black belt in Kobudo.

Dahlen Jordan is now Associate Executive Director. In his expanded role he will oversee the community’s Environmental and Residential Health Services departments as well as continuing to serve as the on-site administrator of Somerfield at The Heritage Health Center and Assisted Living. His role is to ensure the highest quality of care and environmental cleanliness for all Residents living in the community. Dahlen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the emphasis in Management from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. Dahlen has been an employee of Life Care Services (LCS) since February of 2011, and he serves on LCS’s Health Services team and Operational Council. Prior to joining LCS, Dahlen held the role of licensed nursing home administrator at a variety of Tennessee facilities of varying sizes. In 2002, Dahlen received his Tennessee Nursing Home Administrator License and has been credentialed by the State of Tennessee as a Preceptor. He has successfully trained many other Nursing Home Administrators during his career.

In addition to Houk, The Heritage’s marketing department has added Katherine Capps as a Residency Counselor and Bailey Kinsman as marketing assistant.

Katherine Capps brings a wealth of experience to her new role. A licensed real estate agent with experience in senior living sales, Capps’ diverse resume also includes event management and handbag design. The Brentwood native attended Brentwood Academy and has a B.A. in English from the University of Mississippi. She also attended Watkins Film School.

Bailey Kinsman joined the marketing team in late 2021, relocating from the Atlanta area.  A graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in recreation management, Kinsman has professional experience in human relations, event planning, concierge services and sales support. A Chattanooga native, she enjoys long distance running and traveling.
