Laundry Worker
Essential Job Duties:
  • Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
  • Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
Hours:
  • 3:30-10:00
  • 4:00-10:00 or later
  • 5:00-10:00 or later
  • Every 3rd weekend 7:30-4

Housekeeper
Essential Job Duties
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
  • Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
Requirements: must be able to lift 25 pounds
Dishwasher/Utility Worker
  • Performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
  • Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
  • Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • May be exposed to quick variance of hot and cold temperatures from ovens and freezers.
  • May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals, and to hot water temperatures regularly.
Nutrition Server
  • Responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.
  • Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
  • Serves meals in the health center.
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing food service preferred.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day; must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.; must be able to push and pull tray/bus/transport carts weighing up to 50 lbs.

RN- Registered Nurse
  • Responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift including emergency calls for all residents in our Community.
  • Duties also include the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation emergency calls and supervision of nursing assistants.
  • Tennessee licensed RN and at least 6 months nursing experience in long term care setting preferred
 
LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift including emergency calls for all residents in our Community.
  • Duties also include the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation emergency calls and supervision of nursing assistants.
  • Tennessee licensed LPN and at least 6 months nursing experience in long term care setting preferred
 
CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.
  • Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
  • Registration with Tennessee registry required.
 
Line/Prep Cook
  • Responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes and special diet orders.
  • Determines amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and seeing that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club or similar institution.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Some knowledge of nutrition and diet. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures (freezers and stoves-range burners) for short periods of time.
  • May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals.
Dining Room Servers
  • Positions are responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms.
  • Servers must have the ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
  • Bus Persons are responsible for assisting the wait staff with table service.
  • Candidates must be age 16 years or older and must have ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
  • Full Time, Part Time, and Weekend positions needed
