Jon has been with The Heritage at Brentwood since 2006. He has worked with Life Care Services for over 20 years. As executive director of The Heritage, his role is focused on assuring resident satisfaction and managing the operation of this Life Plan community in a financially sound and efficient manner.
Dahlen has been a licensed Tennessee nursing home administrator since 2002. As the administrator of Somerfield Health Center, his role is to ensure the highest quality of care for residents who reside in memory support and skilled nursing, whether temporarily or permanently. He is responsible for the implementation of the HealthyLife® Services and Heartfelt CONNECTIONS – A Memory Care Program®, programs that both recognize resident autonomy and prioritize excellent communication with residents and their families. He also oversees the Winfield Adult Day Center, a service for seniors living at home who may need supervised care and who could benefit from socialization with others. Winfield also offers respite care for family members and caregivers.
Director of Financial Services
Robert has worked with Life Care Services, as a partner and manager of The Heritage at Brentwood, for a combined 6 years. He understands the complexity and details of The Heritage at Brentwood’s Life Plan Community residency agreement and frequently meets with prospective residents to review their financial questions. Robert is supported by a sophisticated financial team at Life Care Services to assure the financial stability and strength of the community.
Judy has over 20 years of senior living marketing experience and has been with The Heritage since 2010. She and her staff educate prospective residents on the differences regarding senior housing options in the greater Nashville area. Judy views her responsibility as assisting prospective residents, adult children, and their advisors to understand the various options available. With Judy’s guidance, they can feel confident in their selection of a Life Plan Community, resulting in an exceptional lifestyle, peace of mind, and financial security.
Director of Nursing Services
Marybeth is dedicated to caring for people. As the director of nursing services at Somerfield Health Center, her responsibility is to ensure the services provided comply with the highest standards of quality care and that Somerfield residents benefit from the training and guidance she provides her nursing staff. She is responsible for the unique and essential memory support program, Heartfelt CONNECTIONS – A Memory Care Program®, setting this service apart from programs offered elsewhere.
Director of Residential Health Services
Cathy helped open our doors and admitted our “first” resident to the Somerfield Health Center back in 2007. As the “go-to” person and health care navigator for independent living residents, she strives to support and coordinate the medical care needed for The Heritage residents. It is her responsibility to promote each resident’s physical, mental, and psychological well-being, thus enhancing their quality of life. Cathy assists residents in navigating through an array of medical services such as: coordinating medical appointments, medication reminders, accessing medical equipment, leading support groups, or working with residents and families to determine appropriate levels of care. Cathy’s goal is to promote an environment supporting the residents’ needs so they can reach their optimal level of functioning and live as independently as possible.
Director of Food and Beverage Services
John joined The Heritage in October 2009. With 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he has served as food and beverage director at various hotels and country clubs prior to joining The Heritage. John is dedicated to achieving and exceeding residents’ expectations by providing the highest level of culinary creations and hospitality-based service.
Jonathan joined The Heritage in the fall of 2012. After earning an associate’s degree in culinary arts at Volunteer State Community College, he completed a three-year apprenticeship at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center through the American Culinary Federation (ACF). Jonathan brings a refined focus to shine light on new culinary techniques, flavors, and presentation to the dining experience for residents at The Heritage at Brentwood.
Director of Facility Services
Eddie joined The Heritage in 2011 where he maintains all the systems that provide a comfortable and safe environment for The Heritage residents. Eddie is also responsible for the maintenance of all residences inside and out as well as the clubhouses and grounds so they function flawlessly and are immaculately maintained.
Director of Environmental Services
Willetta has been with The Heritage since 2012. She credits her hospitality and customer service training to her 18 years of experience at Nordstrom in Los Angeles. The Heritage residents enjoy weekly housekeeping and flat laundry services which, under Willetta’s direction, are done expertly and responsively to residents’ wishes.
Director of Community Life Services
Ashlie has been with The Heritage since 2013 and began her Heritage career as the activities director for Somerfield Health Center. In her current role, she is responsible for the coordination of social activities and events identified by residents of The Heritage. Communication is key to a successful and responsive program of multiple activities and topics. With that in mind, a newsletter, in-house TV channels, and monthly calendar form the basis for this communication.
Director of Administrative Services
Ashely has worked at The Heritage at Brentwood since 2013. She supports the executive director and manages the administrative and receptionist services staff. Ashley takes the lead for the business office and administrative functions as well as serving as the community IT contact.
Terri Lea Bayless
Director of Human Resources
Terri Lea has more than 30 years of human resource and management experience. She started with The Heritage at Brentwood in 2006. Terri Lea is responsible for ensuring qualified and responsive staff are recruited and trained for the services they provide to the residents of The Heritage. Creating a supportive and hospitality-focused environment for the staff ensures residents’ expectations are met by a staff that enjoys working with residents and are provided the opportunity for personal fulfillment and growth.
